The House of Gaios is a Lacecal’s single-family building, built in solid logs of Western Red Cedar. The roof structure is made of glulam wood beams properly insulated and with a copper roofing.
The walls are in solid logs, with a pressure grove, tongue and groove, which guarantees a duly insulation. The Western Red Cedar has the best thermal insulation of woods of its species. The interior space is extremely comfortable, warm in Winter and cool in Summer.
All the interior is in Western Red Cedar, and the bathrooms and kitchen – are protected by a colorless coating which gives them a longer life owing to the water action.
